Adrienne had digitally recreated an old analog drawing from summer of 2023 and transformed it into an animated version. In the animation, the image liquifies itself, creating a digital painting effect using the liquify tool. This effect is meant to stimulate a glitch resembling an old Microsoft pop-up tab, with a Barbie drawing illustrating a malfunction in viewing others online. It’s an attempt to convey that nobody is perfect.

Digital collage of a still image but animated to spin and rotate, representing the transformation of one’s face “from reality to a beautiful dream” - suggesting that it’s better to change yourself to be beautiful rather than embracing natural beauty. The background features a vintage Avon commercial and in instrumental version of MF Doom’s song “Doomsday.”

A digital collage animation that flashes and changes color to highlight in how women are to be seen as indispensable however, they can also be seen as “total trash” and not knowing how to do anything at all. At times it can feel as though it hurts to look at other types and kinds of women. In this animation there is a vocal announcer effect used from Instagram to distort and lower the voices used by a vintage xerox commercial with a song by Tv Girl Sweet to Dream to be in the background.

A digital collage animation with a slow flashing screen, focuisng on Vanity World’s audio. It features a 1980’s Chic Jeans commercial where a man claims their clothes can “fit all” sizes, along with a 1940s-1950s tutorial on beauty standards. The tutorial features a woman in a scolding tone advising to throw away a “griddle” and use makeup to adhere to Hollywood’s beauty standards and make the most of one’s face. The background audio includes the song “Summer 2000 Baby” by Tv Girl.
